Korea: first encounters

We are in Korea! After our grueling plane ride with no entertainment we landed in Incheon. The airport experience was very well organized and gigantic. We went through immigration and picked up our bags which amazingly made it through the short connection time in San Francisco. With our four bags, two carryons, and two pesonal items we went though customs and headed straight to the information booth. Two tickets to Mokpo please! We had two hours to kill, so we decided to try Mcdonalds, I know.. Typical, but literally it was that or KFC lol.

The five hour bus ride to Mokpo was actually more comfortable than the plane. We got to stretch out, fully recline, and was able to close our eyes and take the much needed rest. Our school director picked us up from the bus terminal and took us to our temporary housing for the week. It is small, a one bedroom studio apartment, and to tell you the truth if this was our accomodations, I would have definately declined the offer..let's just leave it at that! Stay tuned for our first day of training!
